Raising a young family in the Bay Area is a struggle. The fight for affordable housing, the anxiety that I see from immigrant and undocumented students and their families, and the sense of sustainability and security feels unattainable. As an educator, family man, and leader who has dedicated his life to serving his community, I am running for Daly City Council to be an advocate that supports working class and immigrant families. I know the struggle of holding down multiple jobs, caring for my family, and being a public servant. It is this passion for social justice to create a Daly City that will continue serving our young people, the working class, immigrants, and our larger community. This city has been home to my family for 16 years and we want to continue to flourish.
