For 8 years, I’ve served on Daly City’s City Council, including two terms as Mayor—and I’m asking for your support to continue this work in 2026.
My platform centers on housing equity and ending displacement, civic power for working-class families, youth, seniors, and immigrants, a greener and healthier community, care-rooted public safety, and economic development that uplifts everyone. In office, I’ve helped pass legislation bringing K-12 educator housing and mixed-income projects to Daly City, expanded youth and women’s voices in local government, and championed mental health services, first-aid training, and cultural events that combat loneliness and celebrate our community.

Like many people in the Bay Area, wages have not kept pace with skyrocketing housing prices. We must find collaborative approaches to include all stakeholders to address this issue.

I believe City Hall works best when the people most affected by its decisions have real power in shaping them. I will expand multilingual access, neighborhood outreach, and meaningful opportunities for working-class families, immigrants, youth, and seniors to participate in local government. Together, we can build a Daly City where every generation and every community is heard, respected, and represented.

Economic development should create opportunity for the people who already call Daly City home. I will support local small businesses, good union jobs, fair wages, and apprenticeship pathways that connect young people, immigrants, and working families to lasting careers. When public resources help fund development, our community should receive real benefits—local hiring, safe workplaces, and growth that helps everyone stay and thrive.

We need to leave our planet for generations to come. The environment is important to the wellness and quality of life of our community. I stand on working together with community organizations and regional political bodies to make sure we strive for a clearer tomorrow.

Public safety must be rooted in care, prevention, and community connection—not fear or punishment alone. I will support mental-health resources, youth opportunities, safer streets, and neighborhood-based solutions that prevent harm before it occurs. Every Daly City resident deserves to feel safe, supported, and treated with dignity.
Youth Civic Engagement
We're living in a time of history where the need for young people to step up in leadership is vital to the future of the is country. We must create leadership infrastructures and mentorship for youth to become politically engaged.
